Little John Improv brings the best improv shows to Nottingham. From our own homegrown talent to some of the highest regarded improvisers from the UK and around the world, we provide a stage for fantastic shows. We also help develop local talent with workshops and courses. We exist to keep the aims of the Robin Hood International Improv Festival alive all year round, by creating the best in improvised theatre and comedy. Check out a show or come take a workshop.
Little John Improv also offers more courses and workshops in Nottingham than anyone else and has fast become the destination for those wanting to learn improv. We have world-class improvisers part of our teaching faculty including those who run the improv programme at Nottingham Playhouse. Sat 20th: The Secret Show (with guests Rhymes Against Humanity)

Rhymes Against Humanity is the East Midlands’ musical improv powerhouse. They will talk to the audience, get your stories and then turn them into improvised scenes and songs in front of your eyes. -

The Newlyweds are your new favourite married improvisers all the way from Melbourne, Australia.Eleanor is an actor, Marcel is a stand-up comedian; together they are an improv powerhouse. They are committed both their marriage and creating world-class theatre made-up-on-the-spot. Do not come expecting a romantic affair just because of their nuptials. The typical Newlyweds show features action, heartbreak, adventure, massive amounts of characters, and a healthy amount of hilarity.
