Over the past decade, Toronto has become a hotbed for unqiue improv scene study. Crowning new terms and styles for improvising scenes. Using these tools, workshop participants will experience a new way of looking at structures within their own play:

  • Creating a fixed emotional point

  • Playing the dynamic instead of the relationship

  • Direct energy

  • Chorus/Verse

  • Heightening ladder

  • 5 point scenic structure

Participants will leave will with a unique understanding of Game of the Scene, heightening, scenic beats, and will be able to play a 10 minute improv scene uniterrupted.

This class is suitable for folks who have been improvising for about a year or more.
