What’s this Class?
We want to experience the weirdest, most beautiful, wildest, most dangerous, epic, romantic, and grandest adventures in our stories. Together with our companions, we’ll overcome insurmountable obstacles and successfully complete every quest.
But what exactly is the structure of such an adventurous story? What kinds of characters appear, and how do you even get started? In this workshop, we’ll take time to explore these points and test them out with small exercises. Then, we’ll dive into stories and create our very own adventures together!
Hang on to your hat! It’s going to be one heck of a ride!

About your Teacher
Anne is part of the leadership team behind Momenta, the international improvisation festival in Leipzig, and has been a long-standing member of Theaterturbine.
Since 2017, Anne has been based in Vienna, Austria, where she continues to teach, direct, and perform regularly with the city's improv community. She also works internationally as a coach and trainer, performing in and developing original improvised shows and formats.
Anne's passion for improvisational theatre began more than 15 years ago with an ensemble of clowns who told stories without words. That experience continues to inspire her work today, particularly her exploration of non-verbal improvisation and her teaching of physical theatre and bodywork for actors, improvisers, and anyone eager to discover new ways of expressing themselves.
She loves travelling the world with her improv duos, including Bemme & Melange with Ursula Anna Baumgartner and The Messengers with Jim Libby. Anne is also passionate about fostering a stronger sense of community within the international improv world.
